WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT
Together, as one, unified people, we will be going through the 8 episodes of the second season of the amazing video series “The Chosen”. The goal is to not only enjoy the powerful message of the Gospel of Jesus, but to create unity in our church family and in our community, as we watch the same video, study the same Bible verses, and participate in the same Small Group discussions.
You don’t need to be a member of New Hope Vineyard to participate… Everyone is welcome!
THE CHOSEN VIDEO SERIES
If you’re not familiar with The Chosen, it is a fully crowd-funded epic telling of the life of Jesus. It is not your old-school Jesus movie… This is new and very well produced! And best of all it is completely free to watch! It began as an app where you could watch the video, and since has spread to YouTube, DVDs, the CW, Netflix and Amazon Prime. You can watch all 3 seasons of The Chosen HERE
WHAT IT WILL LOOK LIKE
This series will include a *Sunday morning teaching based on that week’s episode, followed by Small Groups around the community digging deeper into each subject during the week. (See small group listing below)
During *Sunday morning’s teaching, a 2-3 minute clip from that week’s episode will be shown as part of a teaching based on the events of that episode. Later in the week, Small Groups will watch the entire episode (ranging from 35 to 65 minutes), and have an interactive discussion about it.
*You don’t have to attend Sunday to be part of a Small Group, but it may help with discussion.
