In the Fall of 1988 two young churches came together to form New Hope Christian Church.  The church, under the leadership of Senior Pastor Bob Moore and an Elders Board met in local schools until a property on Collinwood Blvd became available in 1994.  That same year, New Hope approached the Association of Vineyard Churches and began the process of adoption by the Vineyard.  In September of 1995 we became Vineyard Christian Fellowship of Fremont.
The church has grown from a small group of 80-90 people to over 200 through out the years.  In June of 2011 we moved from the Collinwood property back to the local schools in order to be wheelchair accessible and have better facilities for our children while we looked for another property or building that would suit our vision.  God blessed that decision by selling our building to another church days after that decision was made.
In October of 2015, after multiple rejected offers of various properties, we were blessed to be the winning bid on the “Old Moose Lodge” building.  The bid was actually much lower than our previous offers for the property, allowing us to remodel and refurbish with minimal debt, assuring us of God’s favor and plan.
As we moved into our new home in September of 2016, after 5+ years of set up and tear-down every week, we also celebrated the arrival of Tony Buxsel as Lead Pastor.
